Ball Mill Rubber Liner

Rubber liners protect the inner shell and improve wear resistance. Our high-quality rubber lining plates offer excellent wear, corrosion, and impact resistance, are energy-efficient, and have a long service life. They are widely used in large ball mill applications in metallurgy, chemical, and construction industries.

    Description

Ball mill rubber liners are available in nine shapes to cater to diverse requirements. These shapes include wedge, wave, flat convex, flat, stepped, long, rudder, K-shaped, and B-shaped. Besides rubber liners, manganese steel liners are commonly used in ball mills.

Difference between rubber and metal liners

Manganese steel liners are made of high-manganese alloy steel, which is a highly durable and wear-resistant material. It is known for its high hardness and excellent abrasion resistance, making it ideal for high-impact and abrasive environments.

Ball mill rubber liners are typically made of rubber or rubber composite materials. Rubber is elastic and cushioning, making it effective at absorbing shock and noise.

When it comes to wet ball mills, using traditional high manganese steel liners is not ideal as they tend to corrode and wear out quickly, leading to increased steel consumption. On the other hand, rubber liners are a better choice for producing liners in wet ball mills, as they are not affected by the corrosive wear of the slurry and last longer.

    Rubber Liners Advantages

    Good Wear Resistance
Rubber liners are highly wear-resistant and long-lasting, lasting approximately 1.5 to 2 times longer than manganese steel lining plates in ball mills. Rubber's inherent elasticity significantly reduces intense impact forces.
Low Energy Consumption and Cost Savings
The physical density of rubber is one-sixth that of manganese steel, reducing the weight of the drum and alleviating the motor load. Save electricity and reduce costs.
    Low Noise
Different from manganese steel lining plates, the material of rubber lining plates helps reduce noise.
    Good sealing performance
Compared to metallic lining plates, rubber lining plates provide better sealing performance, preventing slurry leakage, and reducing material loss.
